Refund Policy
Effective 14 July 2026
When WinSight subscriptions become available, they will be digital services sold and billed through Paddle. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for checkout transactions and administers buyer payments, cancellations, taxes, receipts, and refunds.
Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory refund, withdrawal, or consumer rights that apply where you live.
1. Cancellation
You may cancel a subscription at any time using the manage-subscription link in your Paddle receipt or the billing portal. Cancellation stops the next renewal. Unless a refund or mandatory law requires otherwise, paid access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Cancelling a subscription is different from requesting a refund. A cancellation alone does not return an amount already paid.
2. Refund eligibility
Paddle’s Refund Policy governs transactions completed through Paddle. It provides statutory withdrawal or refund rights in applicable countries and may allow discretionary refunds. Eligibility depends on the transaction, timing, use of the service, local law, and Paddle’s review.
Persistent technical failure or a material defect that prevents access to the paid service may support a refund request. Please report the problem promptly so WinSight can first try to resolve it.
3. How to request a refund
Use the support or manage-subscription link in your Paddle receipt, visit Paddle Buyer Support, or contact WinSight. Include the account email, Paddle transaction reference, purchase date, and a concise explanation. Never send card details or payment credentials.
WinSight may investigate product access and can ask Paddle to consider a refund, but Paddle processes and records the refund as Merchant of Record.
4. Processing and access
Approved refunds are normally returned by Paddle to the original payment method where possible. Banks and payment methods may take additional time to display the credit.
A full refund normally ends paid access associated with that transaction. A partial refund or credit may change the related subscription balance or access according to Paddle’s decision and applicable law.
5. Chargebacks
Please contact WinSight or Paddle before starting a chargeback so a billing or access problem can be investigated. This request does not restrict any lawful right to dispute a charge with your payment provider.
6. Policy changes
We may update this policy when the subscription service, Paddle’s rules, or applicable law changes. The version in force when a transaction was completed will be considered together with any mandatory rights and the Paddle terms applying to that transaction.
